Luke Logan out of Lambert high school is a 2023 recruit that the staff raves about. The 6’5″ rising senior was All-County and Region last year and has since seen his recruitment take a jump. The talented Logan talked about the latest activity around his recruitment.

“I have been offered by Army and Air Force.”
Where have you visited? Do you have more visits planned soon?
“I have visited Memphis, Coastal Carolina, Georgia State, Duke, and Air Force. I am visiting Troy in 2 weeks.”
Where are you camping this summer?
“I am camping at Memphis, Duke, Coastal Carolina, and Georgia State.”
When would you like to make a decision?
“I would like to make a decision before next season.”
The Scoop
Logan stands at about 6’5″ and shows excellent hands making tough catches over top of the defense. He is a natural at reading the flight pattern of the football and making the catch over the shoulder downfield. We really like his reactions and timing when catching a pass. Logan plays with a lot of urgency getting upfield on his release. He utilizes his long frame to go up high-point a catch. Logan is a solid runner after the catch with good acceleration into his top speed. His route running is varied and shows soft hands consistently on film. We really like the pass-catching ability of Logan; he runs crisp routes and does solid job getting yards after the catch. There’s not a lot of blocking on film, but at 6’5″ and 225 lbs., there is a lot to work with. Logan is also an excellent student with a 3.6 GPA. We suspect Logan will impress a lot in front of colleges with his pass receiving skills during the upcoming evaluation period. The dude is talented.
