Benedictine’s All-Stater Provides Update

Zaquan Bryan ended up leading all of 4A last year in receiving yards which earned him All-State on the website. The multi-year starter has proven to be a stellar prospect, and colleges have jumped into his recruitment race for a while now. Bryan let us know the latest news around his recruitment.

The Scoop

At the time of this interview, Bryan was just boarding a plane for a Minnesota visit. Bryan is not really a new name around our website or among college coaches. The dynamic 2023 prospect was the focal point of the Benedictine passing attack last year going for 1376 passing yards, 95 catches, and 17 touchdowns on top of play defense and special teams too. Bryan is a highly-skilled athlete with an insatiable competitive spirit. He has excellent ball skills going up for a catch and some of the best body control of any receiver in this class. Bryan is a true playmaker on the field and has continued to grow into his frame now standing at 6′ and 179 lbs. We are excited to see the numbers he will put up this fall, as we suspect him to be running the football more this fall taking over Justin Thomas’ offensive role. That should be interesting to see, but to put it succinctly, Bryan is a playmaker, and a recruit worth knowing about.
