Noles First to Offer Christian Meadows

Christian Meadows, a Class of ’18 offensive lineman from Macon County, received good news while camping at FSU today. The ACC powerhouse let the Class AA second-team All-State OL know that they wanted to offer him.

Meadows announced via Twitter:

It has been an exciting last few weeks for Meadows. He won the Top Overall Player at the MVP Camp on June 5th, and now FSU becomes the first school to offer the road-grader.

Playing for Macon County last season, the 6’3″, 330-pound offensive lineman was a beast at run blocking. He is extremely quick off the ball and attacks defensive lineman with an awesome combo of strength and speed.

Meadows is another player who filled out our prospect form and has had a profile since early Fall last year. He also won OL MVP at the NUC Showcase in early spring and was recently awarded an academic achievement from his high school.

Looking at his offseason film, it is apparent that Meadows has improved his pass blocking. His feet look very light, and he does a good job of using his hands and staying inside the shoulders.

Receiving his first offer from FSU was an “honor,” Meadows said, and the coaches helped him a great deal. “(The camp) was great and yes I learned a ton,” he said.

Landing your first offer is always a big moment, and certainly more Power 5 schools will notice one of the emerging prospects in the Class of ’18.

“I’ll enjoy it the rest of the night but back to the grind in the morning,” Meadows concluded.
