A junior interior offensive lineman to know about in the class of ’25 is Ty Oglesby out of Jefferson. The tough 6’2″ 260 lbs. center is a relentless blocker with two years of experience now under his belt for the top-rated Jefferson team in 5A.
Oglesby made our Week 4 Bully Squad and eventually was voted Lineman of the Week the following night. In between those two moments, Oglesby earned his first D1 offer from Marshall.

“I am very excited about the recruiting process and I just got an offer from Marshall University today,” Oglesby said.
Earning lineman of the week must have been a good omen surely. Either way, you have to like the film for the 2025 prospect. He is hard to move, shows reactive feet to the defender, and has excellent hand placement while engaged.
“My junior year has been going well so far. I feel like I most improved at my snapping and run blocking since this is my 2nd year ever playing center in my life,” he said.
You wouldn’t know it from watching his film, and his natural light feet allow the tenacious blocker to quickly react to the defense and control the gaps. On top of his athletic prowess, Oglesby is just a good old-fashioned hog-molly looking to plant his opponent into the ground.
“My mindset when I step on the field is that ‘it’s business’ and ‘it’s personal’ every time I step on the field.”
Last week’s highlight block certainly encapsulates that mindset perfectly. In the class of ’25, you will be hard-pressed to find a more consistent center prospect, and we certainly expect his recruitment will continue to blossom in the coming weeks and months.
