Kennesaw State Lands Jumbo Athlete

Davis Addyman, a long time Recruit Georgia athlete, announced yesterday afternoon his commitment to Kennesaw State.

Addyman played a variety of positions for Augusta Christian, spanning from full back duties (sometimes even toting the rock) to defensive end. The Kennesaw State staff sees him as a 3-technique defensive tackle, which should fit the fleet footed 6’2 270-pound player perfectly.

dnA-8wniIt was a tough decision for the versatile Augusta Christian athlete, who choose the Owls over Reinhardt, Carson Newman, and Presbyterian.

“I want to thank all of those schools for showing interest in me and really appreciate them giving me the opportunity to play at their school.”

The senior visited Kennesaw State for an official visit this weekend. He told Recruit Georgia about his experience at the Cobb County university.

“It was amazing, I got to go talk to Coach Bohanan personally one on one. Mike Daniels was a great recruiter for me and really sold me the program!”

The facilities and coaching staff was a major selling point for the senior. “What really made me come to KSU is the coaches and the facilities, I truly believe that their facilities rival big D1 programs.”

Addyman is excited about the opportunity to be a part of a brand-new program at Kennesaw and he believes the Owls will be a force soon.

“I can’t wait to get up there do some work, and win some rings! Also want to give God all the glory for giving me the body to play!

Kennesaw State has finished strong at the end of this recruiting cycle landing some big-time instate play-makers who will absolutely make an early impact for this fledging program.
