Western Kentucky pulled off a big recruiting victory when they earned the commitment of perhaps the fastest player in the state of Georgia, Jacquez Sloan, a senior receiver from Grady High School in Atlanta.
The senior recruit committed to the Hilltoppers this morning but tweeted his official commitment at lunchtime:

Sloan was one of the state’s leading receivers with 1,252 yards and 13 touchdowns. The senior can fly, averaging 20.2 yards per catch with a long of 80 yards. His outstanding season earned him recognition as an All-State player on our website.
We asked the prolific playmaker what it feels like to be done with the recruiting process: “It feels great to be done with the process. One of the toughest parts in my life. Just feels great, do not have so much pressure on my chest anymore.”
Sloan also received a late offer from Georgia State, but ultimately his ties with with the Hilltopper staff and current players was too strong. “The players I met, and the coaching staff. It just felt very comfortable,” Sloan said.
The commitment of the 5’10” fleet-footed receiver makes No. 18 for Western Kentucky in this recruiting cycle. They are killing it in the Peach State with nine Georgia commits—all from players who were longtime users of the Recruit Georgia recruiting service.
