Class of 2018 linebacker CamRon Carter was offered earlier today by the Tulane Green Wave. The rising junior from Tucker HS announced on Twitter:

The uber-athletic Carter spoke about landing his first college offer. “Felt great man!! My prayers finally got answered!”

We have long considered Carter an FBS prospect after watching him excel at NUC camps in the past year. He is a fluid athlete with sideline-to-sideline speed, which makes him great in coverage.

Carter will be a junior next fall and we expect him to be an All-Region performer. He is a natural at seeking out the ball carrier and is physical at the point of attack.

Tulane made a wise decision offering Carter this early – we fully expect him to have many offers to choose from when a final decision is made. We will continue to keep tabs on Carter throughout his recruitment, so stay tuned.
