Fannin Recognized on Outstanding Season

Mill Creek’s Tyler Fannin was recognized earlier by the Gwinnett County Touchdown Club as Offensive Lineman of the Year. The talented center is the first Mill Creek junior to ever to win this prestigious award, and beat out a lot of 4-star players in arguably the most talented football county in the country.

Fannin, who will be competing in the Army All American Combine, told Recruit Georgia earlier today: “So blessed! I was selected Offensive Lineman of the Year for all of Gwinnett.”

For months Recruit Georgia has raved about Mill Creek’s talented center prospect, and if you watch his film you will see why. He has great fundamentals that were passed down from his father, who played at Marshall, and his brother, who is a freshman at Middle Tennessee.

Fannin was an instrumental part of Mill Creek’s fantastic run to the state semifinals, but now the offseason has settled in.

He’s not sure what junior days he will attend just yet but told Recruit Georgia that he is hearing from: “Clemson, Duke, Illinois, Indiana, Notre Dame, UK, UGA, OK State, Houston, & Temple.” Fannin currently holds offers from Kansas State, Marshall, Georgia State, & Middle Tennessee.

Expect Gwinnett County’s top offensive lineman’s recruitment to heat up very soon, so stay tuned to Recruit Georgia for the latest recruiting updates.
