Powerful Savannah Christian running back AJ Davis committed to Jacksonville yesterday afternoon. The all-region rusher announced his official commitment when he tweeted:

Davis has been a longtime Recruit Georgia follower, and his progression the last two years has been enjoyable to watch. He had been the leading rusher for Savannah Christian the last two seasons, and this year he had over 1,314 yards rushing and nine touchdowns.
He is a load to bring down and projects well at fullback or an H-back role at the next level. Davis is a gritty football player and keeps his feet moving well after contact, dragging defenders along for extra yardage.
Jacksonville offered the 5’11”, 215-pound back on December 7th after reviewing his impressive senior film. Davis is an excellent student in the classroom and sports a 3.6 GPA. He is also a standout wrestler at Savannah Christian.
