All-State Wide Receiver Commits to West Georgia

MORE COMMITMENT NEWS

Valdosta’s JR Ingram committed to West Georgia today in what could possibly be the biggest commitment in school history. The all-state wide receiver announced his commitment through Twitter earlier today, saying:

Ingram is a big, explosive wide receiver at 6’3″, 190 pounds. He was a starter for only his senior year and fell mostly through the cracks despite having one of the best years in the state of Georgia at wide receiver. Ingram racked up over 1,000 yards receiving and had 19 touchdowns, per Valdosta.

He is a phenomenal athlete who can dig his cleats into the turf and get upfield in a hurry. Once he is able to stride out and get his 6’3″ frame moving, very few players are capable of catching him.

Ingram is a decent route-runner and does a great job of using his body going over the middle of the field. He was an impact player in the state title game and was a tough matchup for Tucker’s 3-star CBs to match up with.
