There are 16 new names in V4.0 of the 2018 RecruitGeorgia.com North Georgia Player Rankings; each new name is bolded. There is also widespread movement within the Top 250.
The highest new entry belongs to Johns Creek (Ga.) tight end Tommy Tremble. He basically went from being unknown to one of the most marketable players in the southeast after posting a 111.33 SPARQ rating at the Atlanta Nike Opening. It doesn’t hurt that his academics are such that Ivy League schools are offering. Tremble comes in at #69.
College coaches looking for bigtime speed need to check in on Atlanta (Ga.) Jackson athlete Hassan Hall. Hall recently ran a 10.69 100-meter to go along with dynamic film. He has picked up offers from Middle Tennessee State and Troy. Hall makes his entry at #139.
Coming in at #142 is cornerback Je’Cory Burks of Perry (Ga.). Burks has a great blend of size, speed, and academics. As a result Vanderbilt has made a claim for his talents.
Nick Croawell of Roswell (Ga.) Centennial is another prospect blowing up in the Peach State. The 6-foot-4, 235-pound defensive end has gained six FBS offers this spring and moves into the rankings at #162.
One of the top small school players in the state is Courtney Williams of Hogansville (Ga.) Callaway. Recruiting got off to slow start for the 6-foot-3, 180-pounds safety/receiver but recently Cincinnati threw out an offer. Williams comes in at #167.
Several players made significant jumps in the Top 100. John Fitzpatrick (Marist) moved up 26 spots, Kingsley Enagbare (Hapeville Charter) moved up 16 spots, Darnell Jefferies (Newton) 11, Jaycee Horn (Alpharetta) 12, Tyrese Ross (Westlake) 12, Genuine Potts (McEachern) 11, Caleb Tannor (Miller Grove) 12, Miles Marshall (Parkview) 13, Trey Morrison (Greater Atlanta Christian) 13 and Shaka Heyward (Mill Creek) 21 positions.
The next version of the 2018 RecruitGeorgia.com South Georgia Player Rankings will take place after the spring evaluation period. In the meantime new position rankings for the entire state will be released.
