North East Georgia Recruits is back at it again, this time highlighting QB Joey Mancuso, who received the #19 ranking in their “Terrific 22.” This past season, Joey was one of the top signal-callers in Georgia. He boasted a 132 QBR, while passing for 35 touchdowns, 3081 yards and completing 62 percent of his passes. Joey is a rising Senior and this season will be another chance to prove he is a top-class quarterback in state.
Prince Avenue Christian’s Kevon Hudson came in at #18 in the “Terrific 22. He is a strong back who sheds would-be tacklers and is capable of taking the rock to the house on any given play.

D’Vonn Gibbons was brought to our attention a few weeks and after watching his film and twitter videos confirm that he is an athlete to keep an eye on. He needs to refine his mechanics but he will certainly get enough reps this fall, when he is expected to be the starting quarterback. He is a great athlete who is dangerous in open field.

Elbert County athlete Mecole Hardman clarified on twitter that he did not “silent” commit on his weekend visit to Georgia. Most pundits believe that Mecole is in the midst of a Tennessee/UGA battle.
Newton Co.’s Kurt Taylor attended the Michigan BBQ at the Big House. Michigan Coach Chris Partidge looks to be handling his recruitment. Kurt is one of the top 2017 running backs in the state and is receiving interest from Georgia, Georgia Tech, Florida State, Tennessee and many more.

Kennesaw State landed another offensive line commit over the weekend. Walton High School’s Evan Forrest made it official committing to the Owls and Brian Bohannon’s spread triple option offense. Evan is a good run blocker and fits the mold of what the Owls want in an offensive lineman. He projects to be a smash-mouth run blocking hog molly.
