Week 4 Power Rankings

Big changes in this week’s rankings. Parkview, our Preseason #1 in 7-A was trounced by Lowndes 38-7, so that entire classification received a face-lift and Lowndes shot up from #8 in our polls to #3. Another #1 took a hit with Lee County taking a huge beating from 3-A power Peach County – going into the 4th quarter Peach County had over 40 points and the final score was 40-17 over last year’s 6-A state champs. Another team shooting up the rankings is 5-A’s Jones County, who took Northside Warner Robins to the woodshed totaling 56-33. It was a bad weekend for last year’s state championship participants in 6-A.  Class A Private Wesleyan beat #3 Prince Avenue scoring the final 24 points of the game, so they swapped out top 5 positioning.

Now for the usual spiel: we have added a ‘Bubble’ section for teams just on the cusp of being in the Power Rankings and also an ‘Out’ to signify teams that have just recently been removed from the rankings.
