Bishop chose the Tigers over SEC opponents Georgia and Florida.
The Terrell County star athlete plays quarterback and is a force to be reckon with at the HS level. His commitment to Auburn gives the prolific athlete an opportunity to be the future signal-caller in Auburn’s vaunted spread-option offensive attack.
Bishop is one of the fastest players in the state of Georgia running 4.37 40-yard dash. When his 6’3″ frame hits full stride, he is almost impossible to catch. Bishop’s athleticism transcends across other sports and is a standout basketball and baseball player for Terrell County.
With his commitment Auburn now has 12 players signed up for the class of ’17 and 3 players committed from the Peach State (Carlito Gonzales & Chandler Wooten).
SPRING SCOUTING SCOOP:
Bishop is one of the top athletes in the class of 2017 from the state of Georgia. He can do it all. Whether he is playing safety or quarterback, it makes no difference – he physically dominates his opponents. His outstanding blend of speed and size will is unique at the HS level.
