South Georgia Report: Top Underclassmen at Skill Positions

Don’t underestimate the importance of college coaches wanting know exactly what a prospective student athlete looks like. When they show up on campus for an unofficial it is important to place a face with the stellar performance on the gridiron. Part of the recruiting process is not only evaluating film, but making the decision of whether a high school football player looks the part.

Below are just some of the top skill position underclassmen I have evaluated this year. Many of these athletes make their mark on both sides of the ball while others excel at a specific position; a lot of that has to do with the size and depth at their respective school.

Players such as Fitzgerald’s James Graham already boast ten-plus FBS offers. Other athletes such as tackling machine Ahdarrius Gee of Crisp County still await their first offer.

This list should pique the interest of FBS and FCS colleges in the Southeastern section of the country. And some of these athletes may attract interest from schools in the Northeast and Midwest. Let’s face it there is no shortage of speed in South Georgia. (HUDL profiles are attached to player’s names)
