South Atlanta Star Voted Region Player of the Year

A relative unknown name in the state of Georgia is South Atlanta’s Frank Bailey Jr. The senior had a massive senior year, running for over 1400 yards and 16 touchdowns, which earned him the Region Player of the Year voted by the coaches.

Bailey is only 5’8″, 170 pounds but plays much bigger than his measurements in the program would suggest. The South Atlanta star did a little bit of everything this season, playing defensive back, running back and kick returner, capable of taking it to the house on any given play.

Bailey has elite quickness, but we also like how low he gets to the ground and how decisive of a runner he is. Bailey does not fool around, and when he plants his foot into the ground, he can get upfield in a hurry.

The senior star is also a standout on the basketball team for South Atlanta, which is a school that was preseason No. 1 in Class AA according to Kyle Sandy of Sandysspiel.com. He is an NCAA qualifier with a 2.6 GPA and a, 1160 two-part SAT.

Whoever ends up with Bailey will end up with a great athlete who will absolutely impact his college program with explosive plays. He finished off his career at South Atlanta with way over 3000 total yards of offense and is a dynamic player once the ball is in his hands.
