Scott Prime to Breakout Senior Year

There is no secret here that we like to find diamonds in the rough. Players from smaller towns who are hiding under the radar, but just need some additional exposure to get colleges’ attention, and we feel like we have found another in Banks County senior Aaron Scott.

After having a pretty innocuous offseason when it comes to recruiting, Scott heads into his senior year as mostly an unknown to many colleges. Scott, who is also a star hooper for Banks County is consistently on the travel circuit making huge highlight dunks like in this VIDEO where he basically tears the rim off.

Considering his 5’9″ frame, he must have one of the best pure vertical jumps of any athlete in the state. That same explosive athleticism translates well over to the football field where Scott totaled 626 yards receiving on just 25 receptions while also rushing for 339 yards on a whopping 8.9 yards per carry.

Scott totaled 1003 yards of offense last fall and he did it in just 7 games.  So heading into his senior year, with more experience under his belt, the 2024 athlete appears prime for a huge season.

The Blitz, a media outlet covering prep sports in North Georgia, agrees and has Scott on watch for Player of the Year in North Georgia. Needless to say, the pure athleticism and explosiveness for Scott has not been fully realized, in our opinion, and he will provide an X-factor for Banks County that defenses will have to game plan around.

We are very high on the senior. As of now, he only has about 100 views on his junior highlight reel, but the proof is in the pudding. Scott can flat-out fly with the football in his hands but also shows excellent body control and balance to bounce off tacklers.

Considering his excellent 4.0 GPA and great athleticism, we feel like colleges will have to not only add Scott to their recruiting boards but move him up it. Keep an eye out for the Banks County senior this fall, we will certainly be.
