Sleeper of the Day
George Sabb
2025 New Manchester
Wide Receiver
Sabb is a great vertical threat at receiver. The 6’3″ pass-catcher has a deceptive running stride, and once he strides out, he just eats up yardage that throws the pursuit off. Sabb has an old-school feel to his game. He displays huge huge hands, making several catches over the middle of the field where he needs to adjust and what you routinely see is Sabb catching the football away from his body. Sabb’s ability to track the football and his body control is impressive. He needs to become more explosive coming out of his break; that limits the variety of routes he can run right now, but as a straight-line runner, Sabb has true breakaway speed. The senior has been a favorite target at New Manchester, leading the team in receiving yards and routinely taking handoffs on jets sweeps. At 6’3″ and 180 lbs, Sabb has the frame to be around 200 lbs. at the next level. He has a reported 35″ vertical jump and solid weight-lifting numbers that suggest a lot of upside in creating a more explosive athlete. Sabb reminds me of Noah Frith out of Woodstock from 4-5 years ago. Like Sabb, they both have good size and speed and impact players during their senior year. Frith was a star at Liberty and Sabb can be that type of player.
Commitments
Brayden Ellison
2025 Taylor Co.
Georgia State
The 6’5″ edge defender is crazy-fast to the football and considering his length at around 6’5″, his upside is immense. Ellison has P4 upside, and given a few years, could be an All-Conference performer in the Sun Belt. Huge commitment for Georgia State, doing a great job evaluating talent across the state. – note this commitment happened on 9/16.

Three ‘n Out
Elijah Hayes has rushed for over 200 yards for three consecutive games, and as a result, West Hall is off to a 4-1 start, one of the best in school history. The explosive running back is among the leading rushers in 3A and continues to be a dominant force that has the attention of college evaluators. His production and athleticism will continue to spur on interest D1 interest for the remainder of the recruiting cycle, so stay tuned to see where he commits.
Game 5! 3rd consecutive game with 200+ yards! Could not have done it without my teammates and coaches!@RecruitGeorgia @ExpoRecruits @CoachTaylor_76 @CoachCrawfordWH @WHSpartansFB @WillWagner18969 @KroftonM pic.twitter.com/VOqVNekQPr

Hudson Nix had a huge game last Friday against Pepperell where he totaled 16 tackles, one tackle for a loss, and an interception. One tackle was monstrous on the sideline too. He was named Carroll County Player of the Week. Shortly after Friday night’s game, Nix was visiting Virginia Tech on Saturday. At 6′ and 200 lbs., Nix is pound-for-pound one of the strongest players in his recruiting class. Couple that with his great football IQ, and you can see why the sophomore is well on his way to a 100-tackle season and has the attention of college evaluators at a national level.
Thank u @GunterBrewer & @JalynBallein 4 the opportunity 2 experience a game @HokiesFB this past Saturday against Rutgers! Want to see a crazy play that I missed for the top plays of the week? How about Caden Hartrum’s incredible fake punt touchdown where he scrambles 80 yards, cutting across the defense and making perfectly timed cuts to score this touchdown? One of the best plays of the week, maybe even the 2024 season, by the junior out of Oglethorpe County.
