Welcome to another edition of the Recruiting Recap! Thanks for stopping by, and if you are new here this is a feature where we cover all of the offers over the last 24 hours, who might have committed or decommitted, a player heating up (if applicable) and of course our sleeper of the day.
Hope everyone is excited about another great night of football – going to be some great weather! – David
COMMITMENTS
Bo Hughley
2023 Langston Hughes
Georgia
Scoop: Hughley is one of the biggest OT’s in the state measuring in at 6’7″ and 290 lbs. He’s got an elite frame for the game, pretty light feet in pass coverage but it’s his insane length that makes Hughley one of the most coveted OL’s in the class of ’23.
Jordan Perry
2022 Jefferson
Kansas State
Scoop: Perry is a versatile 6’2″ edge defender who can play out in coverage but also line up right at the LOS and get into the backfield. Perry is quick to the football, has good football instincts tracking the ball carrier. He has a lot of upside, and should fill out to be around 220 at the next level.

HEATING UP
Jaden Harris
2022 Riverwood
Harris has emerged as the top skill player at Riverwood this fall playing RB/WR/DB/PR. His versatility has been instrumental breaking off momentum-swinging plays in all three facets of the game, and some D1 programs have taken notice of the 6’1″ athlete’s exploits. Both UMASS and EKU have offered this week. Harris has good speed with the ability to hit another gear once he strides out.
SLEEPER OF THE DAY
Marlion Jackson
2022 Cherokee Bluff
Jackson is a physical athlete who stands out on the field right away. He has a big long running stride, nice forward lean, and good acceleration. He is powerful with a 6’2″ and 190 lbs. frame. Really explodes out of his release at receiver. Jackson pops on film. His change of direction and fluidity coming out his routes are D1 for sure. Needs work on his blocking fundamentals. Jackson has taken a few long punt returns this season, one for a touchdown. Jackson is showing decent production his senior year and is certainly making the most of the moments when the football is in his hands. He is dangerous breaking off a big play at any moment. Not as much film on defense but can see the 2022 being a solid FS at the next level. Jackson is a super intriguing prospect given his fluidity and size. He just popped up out of nowhere, and this is first year playing football at Cherokee Bluff at least. We definitely think that Jackson is a D1 caliber recruit.
