Sleeper of the Day

Henry Kofowo
2021 Stone Mt.

Kofowo uses his hands very well – keeping hands inside the shoulder pads and showing really good leg drive. Does a good job of scoop blocking while continuing to maintain balacne. Has good feet, gets a lot of his power by just have good balance and leg drive. Saw a play where he pancaked our All-State DE at GAC. Love his motor, there are plays where he is blocking 10 yards down field and just continues to drive the defender back. He doesn’t get a ton of pancakes, would like to see him finish more consistently. Stone Mountain was solid last year for sure. Kofowo even looks pretty good pass blocking. Will move over to OG, but I think he can get up to 300 lbs and even more at the next level. Has a pretty quick kick-step in pass pro. Kofowo is well trained, he does a good job of keeping his chest up while sliding his feet. Definitely a diamond in the rough for the class of 2021. Kofowo currently holds one D1 offer in Murray State.
