Welcome to another edition of the Recruiting Recap! You know, typically the 4th of July there is a lot of commits, but just from our look around, it was down in a major way this year. Athletes are staying strong and doing their due diligence during the virus despite not being able to visit, I suppose.
Either way, we have all of the weekend’s commits, offers, and a sleeper of the day. Still holding off with heating up section since offers are so, so, so down, but you also get a bonus day since we didn’t do a recap on Friday. So let’s see what we got down below!
Also colleges, feel free to contact recruitgeorgia1@gmail.com for our NCAA compliant database. We also are making free public profiles each day, so be sure to hop on the website or check our Twitter page for the newest ones added.

Sleeper of the Day
Braesen Parker
2021 Cherokee
Parker might not be the biggest, but the thick framed linebacker comes in with bad intentions and accelerates quickly to the ball carrier. He plays fast and physical. Big hitter in the gaps, doesn’t shy away from contact one bit. Love the urgency he plays with, pretty good in pass coverage too, does a nice job reading the QB’s eyes. Parker is a just a hitter, pure and simple. He goes into an attempt looking to take the guys head off. If he was a few inches taller I would imagine he would be a no-brainer for FBS programs. Still, got to like how the 2021 linebacker plays the game, and the fact that he has so many plays in pass coverage is very promising too. Parker currently holds offers from Birmingham Southern and Reinhardt plus interest from Dickinson. The 2021 linebacker has exceptional instincts, one of the leading tacklers in Georgia last year with over 160, and we think deserves a lot more looks from D1 & D2’s alike.
