Sleeper of the Day
Jeanarion Kamga
2025 Westside-Augusta
Running Back
With 1500 yards and 14 touchdowns in 2023, one would think that Jeanarion Kamga would have stimulated the interest of college coaches. The consistent back does a nice job of picking his way through the hole and I really like how he times his acceleration. Very patient runner waiting for the hole to materialize. Although he does not have true breakaway speed in his junior film, Kamga is ultra-quick both laterally and vertically, so he can gash a defense for big chunks of yardage. Kamga is a confident runner and his ability to read his blocks is a separating factor between him and a lot of smaller all-purpose backs. As a blocker, Kamga is pretty impressive given his frame, and he does a nice job of meeting defenders physically while utilizing his low center of gravity. Most local programs will be watching closely to see how Kamga has improved over the last year, specifically speed. During the summer camp season, he was named the RB MVP at the Reinhardt camp. Kamga reminds me of a combo of Germivy Tucker and Kimani Vidal. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him go over 2k yards this fall and college interest should follow.
Commitments
Michael Thomas
2025 Douglas Co.
Army
Douglas County produces some of the best defensive prospects in the state each year. They play fast and physically, flying towards the football. Michael Thomas is no exception. The versatile defensive back presses up on receivers with a lot of confidence and can blanket them in coverage. Thomas has quick hips, which allows him to flip over and stay with receivers on deep passes, but he also can adjust back and break on the football on shorter routes. Thomas is a great student with a 3.9 GPA and seems like a great fit for Army. Thomas told GoBlackKnights, a Rivals Army page, “The atmosphere is like no other.”
Jadon Perlotte
2025 Buford
USC
Perlotte was almost immediately in the linebacker rotation at Buford as a freshman. The 2025 linebacker has been among the biggest hitters in his recruiting class. Perlotte flies to the football showing elite acceleration and there is zero hesitation or slowdown before impact. USC snags Perlotte after he has been committed to UGA for two years now, a major win for the Trojans, who are increasing their presence in the state each recruiting class, it seems.
Zo Smalls
2025 Savannah Christian
Charleston Southern (July 21st)
I missed this commit 10 days ago, but not going to miss the opportunity to comment. The 2025 running back is one of the toughest guys in the whole recruiting class. His low center of gravity coupled with his incredible determination allows Smalls to be effective between the tackles but also the burst to bust it outside for big gains too. Smalls ran for around 1800 yards for the 3A runner-ups in 2023 and should shred Class DI this upcoming season. Charleston Southern grabs a nice commitment here, but the key will be to hold on – several FBS programs have contacted me about Smalls over the last few months.

Hughes class of ’26 running back Carsyn Baker took a visit to Auburn yesterday. The explosive rising junior ran a reported 10.65 100m and talking with an RB coach in the SEC, the 6’2″ athlete is coveted. Baker has seen his recruitment explode with offers from programs like Ohio State, Alabama, Ole Miss, etc. during the evaluation period. I’m of the belief that Baker is set for a huge junior season, so we feel like the national attention, which is high and warranted, will only continue to grow. So this is a great end-of-summer visit for Auburn, who offered back in early May and figured to stay in the picture until commitment day.

Senior linebacker Hayden Tumminia led Milton in tackles on the course to their 2nd state title. Just like the video down below, Tumminia has been working his tail off during the offseason and will unleash all of that progress onto the opposition this fall. Much like his older brother, Tumminia is a fighter on the field (a good wrestler too) with an impressive IQ for the game, and most importantly, a great leader. Positionally, he is a little short. Standing at around 5’11” and 220 lbs., Tumminia has been hyper-focused on becoming the quickest linebacker possible, and has reported a shuttle time of 4.35 and a top speed of 19.07 MPH. Due to reclassification, Milton is now dropping down to 5A, where Tumminia will be a strong candidate to be first-team All-State, and the Milton program at large, a proverbial favorite to win it all.
On a mission since Dec 13. Explosiveness, change of direction, hips w @dustyn_moore. The ‘First and 4 Most’ podcast headlined by Najeh, Bacon, Jerome, and special guest On3 Sports’ Jeremy Johnson unveiled their top 25 players from the class of ’27. That is no easy task, but they did a bang-up job highlighting the promising sophomore stars from around the Peach State. We have the stream from Najeh’s YouTube page down below to checkout.
