Recruiting Recap 7/22

Welcome to another edition of the Recruiting Recap! I hope everyone is having a great day so far, and is reading to comb through another recap filled with all of yesterday’s commitments, offers and a few other features too including our sleeper of the day!

Just another reminder, we just finished our “2021 Summer Update” and it’s fully available – please contact recruitgeorgia1@gmail.com. We also are toying around with a new service that would involve high schools, stay tuned because we could be launching our pilot program here shortly.

Outside of that, stay safe, socially distant and wear a mask – football season is about 50 days off! Let’s flatten the curve as much as possible until then. Thanks again for reading my report – David

Commitments

Mason Bundy
2021 Fannin Co.
Liberty

Scoop: Bundy is one of the biggest linemen at the state measuring out at 6’6″ and roughly 300 lbs. He had a slew of D1 offers, his most recent coming from FIU, but the persistence of Liberty came thru. Bundy is an ideal fit at either tackle spot at the next level, he is a pretty good pass blocker already, so we think he will have a good impact at LT at the next level for Liberty.

Malik Williams
2021 Buford
Nebraska

Scoop: Williams was part of one of the most talented CB rotations in the state last year. He’s an aggressive cornerback with good size at 6′, has good instincts and makes quick breaks on the receiver. Nebraska is getting a physical corner who is well trained and has some versatility to play multiple DB spots at the next level.

Yesterday’s Offers

John Ferguson
2021 Athens Acd.
Penn

Adam Watkins
2021 Dacula
Kennesaw

Alex Carman
2021 Peachtree Ridge
Middlebury College

Corey Robinson
2021 Roswell
Southern Illinois

Jack Rowland
2021 Veterans
Culver-Stockton

Logan Crossfield
2021 Allatoona
Pikeville

Sleeper of the Day

Jofranstar Graham
2021 Evans

Graham has put on some solid weight over the last year and has quickly eclipsed 190 lbs. He plants his foot into the ground and gets up field quick when running the ball. Shoots thru the hole with solid acceleration. No hesitation in his running style, he gets his pads vertical and runs very hard too. Does a nice job of securing the ball while running, keeps the football high and tight and transfers over to the opposite side of pursuit. Graham showed flashes last year with several impressive runs. He’s a good all-around athlete claiming a 4.13 shuttle and 36″ vertical. Graham is dual enrolled with a 3.5 GPA. He has one D1 offer and that is from Army, his tough running style is definitely a good bit at b-back in their system.
