Recruiting Recap 7/17

Welcome to another edition of the Recruiting Recap! It’s now been officially 3 months where we have posted these recaps Mon-Fri, and I want to thank those of who continue to show their support an interest in the state of Georgia’s recruiting! As always, we are always open to suggestions, so feel free to reach out with any ideas you might have.

Outside of that, we are working on a big project for the class of 2021 that will be finalized here today, and will move focus back to the class of 2022 and 2023. Expect rankings to be out here shortly, but we are trying to gauge how the end of summer will play out and going into the fall, what works best for our content. To put simply, we do not know about how the football season play out.

Anyhow, here are all of yesterday’s offers, commitments and of course our sleeper of the day! Take a look down below and have a great weekend everyone! – David

Sleeper of the Day

Phillip Massengale
2021 ELCA

Massengale was a slot back in 2019 showing a nice bouncy step to his game but should very well be the QB next year at ELCA. He is a fluid runner with nice change of direction and nice natural lean forward. Solid running stride in general. Massengale shows solid acceleration hitting his top speed. He has good body control and keeps his pad level low. He should be in store for a big year next fall at QB. I really like how tough he is with the football, and already weighing over 200 lbs. he will lower his shoulder and knock a smaller DB back no problem. If Massengale ends up at QB next fall, then you can bet that he rushes over 1000 yards on the season and gets close to 2500 total yards of offense. What impresses me the most about Massengale is his balance. He can stay up right and gets tough extra yardage.
