Recruiting Recap 7/13

Welcome to another edition of the Recruiting Recap! I hope everyone had a productive weekend!

In this feature we tally up all of the offers over the weekend and commitments to go along with our sleeper of the day! Maybe adding back the three heating up, we’ll just have to see how things shake out, and since I write this intro before doing any research, you’ll just have to scroll down to see.

Outside of that, we are working on new profiles each day, and posting them to the site. We have four new stories up on the site all about senior sleepers. Oh yeah, college coaches please email recruitgeorgia1@gmail.com for to learn about our premium database. We will have a preliminary class of 2022 database ready to go here!

Covid cases are up, so please wear a mask. Stay safe everyone!

Sleeper of the Day

Kyren Thomas
2021 Douglas Co.

Thomas has been the most productive player from this class at Douglas County. He is a tough DT who uses quick hands to get into the backfield and plays with a ton of urgency. Thomas is only 5’10”, but has to be one of the strongest players in his recruiting class with over a 600 lbs. squat. Thomas drives his legs through the offensive lineman and is pretty quick out his stance too. His lack of height is going to make it tough to be recruited, but Thomas is a heck of a football player, and his motor is just exceptional too. We think that a D1 school will take a chance on the 2021 recruit, he is just so strong that his lack of height shouldn’t be a deciding factor. Thomas has offers from Albany State, Pikeville, Morehouse and Presbyterian – all offers coming in late May to early June.
