Heating Up

Emaree Winston
2025 Calhoun

The 6’3″ 230 lbs. athlete showed exciting flashes his freshman year at both TE and DL. He’s a physical pass-catcher who plays well beyond his age and had a direct impact on Calhoun’s playoff run to the state title. Winston holds offers this offseason from Ohio State, NC State, Louisville, Buffalo and EKU. His recruitment is really just starting to heatup, and this fall we expect his recruitment to truly breakout into the double-digit range, so he is absolutely one to keep an eye on.

Sleeper of the Day

Kam Fountain
2024 Booker T. Washington

Fountain isn’t really a sleeper to the colleges. We briefly talked about the 6’6″ edge rusher that we are very high on back in May when his recruitment hadn’t really taken off just yet, but it’s worth talking about the latest developments in his recruitment, which have been substantial despite the media having no clue. Fountain has received offers from Kansas State, Georgia Tech, WKU, Miss State, ECU, Georgia, and UAB since we talked about him back in May. His length and naturally high motor foreshadow elite pass-rushing upside at the next level, and colleges (followed by the national media) will be all about the star talent in the coming months. So in a way, he is still being slept on despite multiple P5 offers under his belt including the two in-state programs in Georgia and Georgia Tech.
