Oh yeah, welcome to the end of Week 4 on our coverage of the state of Georgia’s recruiting. We have been posting daily recruiting recaps Monday-Friday, so thank you to all that have followed along for the ride. Hopefully this feature has helped push along the recruiting process during the pandemic.
As always, we will list out all of yesterday’s offers around the state, three players who are heating up, and of course our sleeper of the day.
Also, Recruit Georgia was approved for another year as a NCAA compliant recruiting service! Colleges that have become premium members have provided extremely positive reviews with our subscription model, and we advise all schools who are serious about recruiting the state to reach out to recruitgeorgia1@gmail.com for more info.
Hope that everyone is set for a good weekend, and staying safe!

Three Heating Up
Devin Lee
2021 Ola
Devin Lee’s recruitment has been on fire for some time now. The All-State defensive tackle had right at 20 sacks last year, and looks flat out explosive on film. In the last week, he has received offers from Vandy, VT, & Southern. He holds over 20 offers to date and came out with a top 8 last month of Kansas State, UAB, NC State, BC, Illinois, GT, Duke and Wake Forest. Personally, I think the the 2021 recruit is set for even more P5 offers.
Ryland Gandy
2022 Buford
The young Buford defensive back played great his sophomore year and is set for an even bigger junior year. His recruitment has really broken out even before his junior year, and Gandy is already hearing from P5 programs. Penn State offered yesterday and just a few weeks ago he also earned an offer from Indiana. Both schools recruit the state very well, and obviously see the upside in the young Buford defender. Gandy stands 6′ and also holds a 4.0 GPA. His recruitment is just really starting to take off here, but you got to love the long-quick defender out of Buford. He has excellent timing with his break-ups, and you can bank on more P5 programs offering here shortly. Love his upside as a P5 CB.
Christian Charles
2021 Chestatee
Charles was someone we wrote about at the of April as a breakout recruit in this class, and boy did that turn out being correct. At the time just Washing State and Tennessee had offered among the P5’s. Since then, he has earned offers from Oklahoma, Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, Indiana and Vanderbilt. It’s pretty obvious that colleges love his versatility and competitive spirit at the next level. His recruitment is not just heating up, but basically on fire at this point, and he is quickly becoming a national recruit that is coveted.
Sleeper of the Day
Dominique Marshall
2021 Lowndes
Lowndes didn’t throw the ball a lot in 2019, they were typically up by multiple touchdowns anyways, but when they did they seemed to look for Marshall deep down the field. It’s pretty remarkable that he has gone under the radar for so long. The 2021 recruit has legit speed, and just explodes out his release getting up field. He has very good size already at 6’2″ 190 lbs. Made several tough catches where he fights for inside positioning. Marshall is a no-brainer FBS recruit. He does an excellent job of catching the football away from his body and makes a lot of catches in tough coverage over the middle. His outstanding athletic burst with the ball is also matched with his willingness as a blocker where he does a very good job of cleaning out a defender on the perimeter. Marshall is an option team’s dream. He has outstanding upside considering his speed and frame. Unsurprisingly, The Citadel offered yesterday, and he also holds D1 offers from Tenn Tech and Western Carolina. Still waiting for that first FBS program to take a bite, but definitely think Marshall is one of the more explosive pass-targets in the state. Checkout the film below for yourself.
