Sleeper of the Day

Daniel Clark
2025 Aquinas
Offensive Lineman

Danny Clark is a functional athlete on the offensive line with good hip bend and a nice flat back while engaged. At around 6’4″ and 260 lbs., he shows good body control while blocking, keeping under control while scoop blocking on the perimeter. Strong lower lumbar strength lets Clark stay attached while moving his feet well. Good strength up top, with several blocks where he knocks the defensive lineman off balance with a good punch. Clark looks good sliding his feet and has the frame to swing across the line of scrimmage. While he shows solid film as a pass blocker, his strength lies when run blocking, so being an offensive guard or right tackle seems like a natural fit. A lot might depend on how Clark fills out his frame. Clark’s feet do a lot of the heavy lifting while blocking. He can seal off defenders while getting really good leverage. Has a reported 78″ wingspan, which is believable. The senior has received interest from FCS programs throughout the fall, which seems like a great fit. Clark has a 3.5 GPA too. Hard worker going through the process in the right way, seems like a college will bite with an offer soon.

Three ‘n Out

James Madison commit Dylan Villarouel earned an offer from Kansas State, making them his first P4 offer. The senior out of North Forsyth has trained hard with former NFL OL Ben Grubbs during the offseason, and that has paid dividends. Several P4 programs were eying the senior over the summer, perhaps the Kansas State offer could snowball into more? We will see.

Carrollton’s 2028 offensive lineman Kweli Fielder already has 5 P4 offers under his belt with Ole Miss, Florida, Syracuse, Florida State, and Miss State all in pursuit. The huge 6’4″ 315 lbs. blocker has broken into the rotation swinging across the line for the #1 ranked team in 6A. Fielder is a natural showing the poise of an upperclassman as he slides his feet in pass coverage. The 2028 blocker will be a coveted OL in this class.

Winder-Barrow freshman Giovanni Tuggle continues to stack up offers fast with Tennessee and Georgia Tech coming in last week. The freshman ran the speed last week at Winder-Barrow with a top MPH of 19.8 MPH and is the team leader in interceptions. The 6’2″ Tuggle is a great athlete, showing the explosiveness similar to elite safeties we have seen in the past. Tuggle played varsity basketball last year during the 8th grade, and you can see that explosive ability when high-pointing an interception. Tuggle will be one of the top prospects in the class of ’28.
