Commitments

Khristian Zachary
2021 Carrollton
Liberty

Scoop: Zachary found a perfect fit, at least in our opinion, with Liberty. The ‘Reverend’ is a devout Christian and should thrive in the campus life of Liberty. On the football side of things, Zachary is another big pick-up for the program here in Georgia. He has a crazy motor, gets after the football with intensity, and has a frame that P5 football teams covet. The 2021 edge defender is someone we have covered well before he blew up in the recruiting world, and should thrive at the next level at a program like Liberty.

Sleeper of the Day

Corey Robinson
2021 Roswell

Robinson is starting his 2nd year at Roswell now, and at the midpoint of his senior year, he has yet to give up a sack. He is going to pour on weight and over the last year, he is up about 20 lbs. – should get to 300 lbs. no problem in college. He keeps a pretty flat back while blocking and uses hands well too. Very good with his placement at least and does a nice job of driving his legs through the defender. We spotted that his footwork needed some work going into senior year, and it looks like from early film that he is setting up his blocks better with quicker feet and showing more body control while engaged even. He had a very efficient season getting defenders down with pancakes. Robinson is a good OL prospect, and considering his frame, he should be on most P5 program’s radars. That hasn’t been the case over the last year though, and mostly the 2021 recruit has heard from strong academic programs and G5. He claims a 7′ wingspan, which really explains the excellent leverage that he gets. His recruitment has been puzzling over the last year. What you have is an OL with a good frame, solid motor, and natural flexibility to work with – typically P5 programs are all over a guy like Robinson. He shows good versatility and frame to swing across the OL too. Right now though, Robinson’s influx of interest has come from the Ivy League ranks, but we think that will change as the recruiting clock counts down to NSD.
