Pratt Picks Mount Union

Over the weekend, Trey Pratt, a a junior defensive back from Dacula HS, committed to Mount Union. His commitment makes him one of the first for the Class of 2017 in Georgia and certainly the first Division III commit.

Pratt spoke with Recruit Georgia about his early decision.

“I committed early because I feel like I wanted to get a head start and it felt like home.”

One of the convincing factors behind his early decision to play for the Raiders is their winning tradition at the Division III level. “Mount Union is a winning program with 11 national championship and 24 conference championships,” Pratt said.

The Dacula corner has quick hips and sticks to his player like glue in coverage. Pratt is 5’11” 175-pounds and supports the run well with his sound tackling ability. He is smart defender, who contest the pass well, without creating enough contact to warrant a pass interference penalty

The season ended about a month ago but Pratt already has goals set. He wants to improve his focus on the field and to become more of a leader for his team.
