Bouie is a solid slot receiver and DB for Bainbridge. He’s a small athlete for sure, and the 5’6″ frame does look about right on film. That doesn’t stop him from being an impressive open field tackler. For one, Bouie reads the play very well. He has solid speed, but more than anything he gets very good breaks on the play, recognizing the direction and pouncing on opportunities. He really created a lot of turnover in 2019, and it’ll be interesting to see how 2020 shakes – if he gets more reps on offense of will most of his film still be on defense. He’s a nickle at the next level. His tackling is certainly very good, coming in low and wrapping up. Just his frame could probably utilized best as a slot receiver, but cannot deny his defensive instincts and how well he closes on the ball carrier. He is a lot faster senior year and really exploding down field.
