Baloga is a surprisingly quick lineman, who beats the guy right when the ball is snapped. He is a bull out there on the field and he does a good job of getting leverage on his opponent. He went up against some very good offensive tackles (especially #77 for GAC) and more than held his own. He uses his hands well, and does a good job of setting the edge. From watching his film, it looks like he could play a number of positions on the defensive line, and potentially grow into a defensive tackle. Slowly but surely Baloga is adding weight, and is almost 260 lbs for his senior season. Looks to have continued to improve his block shedding, getting better leverage and pursuing the ball carrier. Was getting the backfield at higher clip than even last year, and if you watch, once again it’s against talented offensive lineman. Baloga looks to have longer arms, and that really plays a huge role in his success on the field.

2017 STATS:
62 tackles, 17 TFL, 11 sacks, 4 QB knockdowns, 1 FF, 1 FR & 24 QB hurries

The kid is pretty darn good to be so young. Seems quick and strong. Very aggressive. Built well and could add size at the next level. We will be watching him.
