What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

My drive to win and love for my teammates is the biggest thing that separates me from other talented Quaterbacks. A lot of people can make all the throws and are big and athletic but not everyone can make the people around them better. I think that my guys know I would go to war with them and I feel like I push them everyday to be better.

Nice arm, big frame, really can zip the pass out to the receiver on short routes. Junior year was solid, passed for around 60% and had 1275 yards. Gerdes has a strong arm, so definitely going to keep an eye on the 6’3″ QB. Showed flashes as a junior. The Raiders were adjusting after losing a ton of seniors from the year before. Consistency is huge for Gerdes, and there were games in 2018 where the senior didn’t make a huge impact in the passing game. His arm is intriguing, should attract colleges for sure. He throws the pass on a nice tight spiral, pretty solid form but cocks back the football too much at times, so a little slower getting out. He definitely has some arm talent, film showcases some difficult intermediate passes too. 2019 Gerdes has played solid completing about 50 of his passes and 7 passing touchdowns in 5 games. Can definitely extend a defense with his arm, and should get good recruiting interest as the recruiting period winds down.
