Davis has been the starter over at Shaw for a few years now. He has a strong arm that can stretch the field 50 yards or more. He is a pretty good runner with the ball too, and is able to break a lot of tackles with his bigger frame. Davis is strong in the lower body. He makes a few crazy throws off his back leg where he seems out of control, but still send the football out 40 yards down field. It’s surprising to see the lack of D1 offers at this point for the 2021 dual threat. He has the raw tools to be a good spread option QB. His power running style coupled with his solid running vision gets him good yardage when he is scrambling out. Mostly, his arm strength is what really sets him apart. Worse case, you get a big powerful athlete who has the potential to play several positions outside of QB, even linebacker or tight end even.
