Hawthorne is pound for pound one of the strongest players in the state of Georgia. He plays low the ground, and goes into a tackle with bad intentions. Very good speed getting into the backfield. and definitely the type of player to make an impact against a spread offense. Hawthorne is very quick, and plays with ton of energy. Tackling fundamentals are okay, sometimes he relies too much on his arms. Hawthorne should play more on the edge, he’s put on weight over the last few years adding about 20 lbs. to his frame but not big enough to play MIKE at the next level.
