What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

I work hard at having good technique and a high football IQ. I study film to be prepared for the games. I play the pass and run the same because I want to be a complete DB. My goal is to be the best football player I can be.

Stats for 2017
60 tckls (45 solo 15 asst) 1-INT 6-PBUs 5-TFL 1-Sack 1-QB hurry

Pless might be a little undersized but he certainly shows very good footwork coming into his back pedal. He reads the receiver well, slides his feet correctly and does a great job of digging into the receiver to get better positioning. Pless is very physical too in the open field making a tackle – there is zero hesitation in his step when getting downhill and making a tackle out in the flat. He has pretty good length attacking the pass, gets his hands right into receivers’ so he cannot catch the football. He’s an FBS caliber cornerback from a skill stand point, and something that really catches my eye is him making stops before the first down marker consistently. Seems like Pless would do well in a defensive scheme that utilizes a combination of zone and man principles. Made first all-region and all-county his junior year. 3 interceptions but only 8 PBU’s, you would think he would have more at this point. Pless is a solid DB, his tackling for his size will attract FBS colleges throughout his recruitment.
