Tyhler Williams is fast out his stance and is an aggressive center at the point of attack. He has some major punch with his hands. Knocks the defender back easily, and once they are off balance he gets them to the ground quickly. Williams is a very good run blocker. He does a nice job of controlling the gaps in his center spot. Very strong fundamentals. Would like to see more urgency when he gets to the 2nd level. Right at the point of attack Williams is a tough blocker. I think working on his flexibility/strength, especially in the hips more and working on body control are areas to improve, but overall like his fundamentals and the efficiency he defenders down for pancakes. Williams just measured out this spring to be 6’4″ and now 317 lbs. The added inch is very good to see, but still much better weight to say around 300 lbs before getting into a college weight room. The 2022 recruit is now at Milton, and we suspect he’ll be lining up at OG and C.
