What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

Anderson is one of the most underrated players in the state. The All-State 6’3″ receiver out of Rockmart was a highlight reel constantly catching the ball with a defender draped over him. He was right at 1k yards as a junior and his dynamic athleticism changed how the Yellow Jackets offense operated in 2023. There was no good answer for Anderson on offense, which only makes his defensive efforts more impressive. He is a physical player using strong hands at the point attack to get off blocks and does a solid job of tackling in space. We like how he drops his hips, showing good tackling form and leg drive. Anderson’s hands/arm length makes all of the difference. They help him get off blocks, deflect passes, and haul in throws his way on offense where he makes contested catches look routine. He needs to get stronger in the hips, and become more explosive coming out of his breaks to get better separation at the college level. Or maybe playing safety is the best fit considering his frame and ability to go up and attack the football. Anderson has a long-running stride which paid dividends with several returns that he took back for over 50-yard special team scores; a few being some of the best plays of the 2023 season. As he continues to grow in the weight room, we feel like Anderson will explode becoming a dominant possession receiver or a big-hitting safety. There is a lot of versatility and upside. Becoming more explosive out of his release should boost his recruitment to another level, but either way, we feel like he will be a standout at the college level.
