What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

I can play anywhere in the field. Very coachable, always the hardest worker in the room.

Brown is one of those guys who stands out on film. At around 6’3″ and 240 lbs., there is little doubt about his frame translating to the FBS level, but his versatility makes him a unique recruit. Brown lines up at defensive end with his hands on the ground or standing up, but in the same game, he’ll slide over to middle linebacker or out wide in the flat. His length coming off the edge suggests that Brown has a lot of upside as a pass-rusher. He does a pretty good job of getting leverage, but would like to see him rip through blockers showing quicker more intense hands. Brown cleans up a lot of tackles from the backside where he hustles his tail off. Needs to improve his consistency, especially his tackling, where he often strikes too high or overreliance using his arms. The upside is obvious, and you can see why so many FBS programs have submitted offers in pursuit of the high-upside defender. Like so many defenders under coach Felton, we suspect he is prime for another jump, especially with his fundamentals, so he could grab additional attention from Power programs in the coming months.
