Ferrell played at Stephenson his sophomore year, now at Cedar Grove. The 2022 recruit has some very good top end speed, accelerating fast and getting up field fast. He puts some legit pressure on a defense. He can flat out fly for sure, gets around defenders, who are pretty solid football players and just blows by them. He definitely needs to add some weight to his frame, but really like his big play ability. Doesn’t have the best vision after the catch. Pretty good reactions to the pass and keeps feet in bounds. Honestly wouldn’t mind seeing him at CB give n his quick-twitch indicators, plus pretty good length to break up passes.
