Coley is an undersized edge defender how plays with really good aggression. Must be all those reps against the Gainesville OL the last few years, because he is good at getting off blocks. He gets good leverage, then scrapes off the block. Very quick to disengage and play the outside, pushing the ball carrier back into pursuit. He has legit closing speed too. Overall, at 6’2″ 200 lbs., he’s going to have to add some weight to play off the edge at the college level, but definitely like how quick he gets off his blocks. Overall he’s a plus athlete, and just good football instincts getting to the outside. Tackling is solid too, for the most part strikes at the waist, but occasional profile tackle where he holds up the ball carrier for additional help.
