The Telfair coaching staff rave about Blakenship’s motor and strength. He definitely shows good speed to the football and does a nice job of playing off the edge not letting the ball carrier get to the outside. He’s a powerful all-around athlete with over a 300 lbs. power clean. Blakenship needs to be playing some linebacker though. Just like his other two brothers, Tre is a very good football player with a real passion for the game, but also strong in academics. When he makes contact with the ball carrier they go down quickly. You can see him impact on defense with how the QB is anticipating pressure from the 2021 defender, and a lot of times are throwing off their back foot.
