What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

Super 33 team, All county, All region

Parks comes into his senior year with a lot of accolades. He plays the game with good urgency, is quick to engage with the offensive linemen and is an utter terror at the point of attack. Activates powerful lower body while engaged, gets good leverage and does a nice job playing on his toes. Good acceleration, ran a 4.7 shuttle time, which at 272 lbs is indicates that he has very good lateral quickness. That burst translates well to film, and you can see the strong defensive tackle easily blow by slow offensive linemen. He also shows nice potential at offensive line, and in a quick-hitting option offense, there is some potential intrigue at center. He is very strong at the point of attack, and his above average quickness is very good, and should help with picking up blitzers. Parks is a compact athlete, but very quick and powerful at the same time. Couple that with his excellent academics, and I think you have a very interesting prospect, whose highest upside is probably at offensive center. Three sport athlete, his background as a wrestler is evident with how easily he pancake defenders as an offensive linemen. Moves feet really well while engaged with a defender, 7’10” standing reach is above average for his height.
