Caldwell was 2nd team All-Region for the 2nd year in a row, and was a solid vertical threat for Woodard last season. He’s put up numbers with solid receivers surrounding him, but how will Caldwell do when the defense is more geared up to stop him. I would like to see the 2020 recruit get more flexible, especially in the hips. He’s got solid speed, but jump on film completely. As a defender, tackling looks solid, but not enough hip swivel to play CB at the next level. Caldwell looks like a solid safety prospect who can line up in man coverage. He’s not explosive enough to play receiver at the next level, but has good hands and that should help with him snagging interceptions. Pretty good at breaking up passes too. does a good job of raking the pass out.
