Brown was a top performer in his region. Just right off the bat I really like his length, and he has the type of body where adding weight should not be a problem either. He found himself around the ball this season, making a fair amount of interceptions. He’s a smart player too, and closes in on the ball carrier quickly, before the play can materialize too much. Brown is a good 1 v 1 tackler – that’s probably his best skill. His hips are too slow to be a cornerback right now, but he figures to be a FS at the next level. He shows nice acceleration, but also seems to take bad tackling angles. Brown created a few fumbles this year as well, his long arms seem to produce a lot of those. He was a very productive player on an otherwise rocky Luella defense.
