Webb is a springy athlete with good length and excellent activity getting into the backfield. He uses his length well to get off blocks and has nice top end speed to close on the ball carrier. Webb takes long pursuit routes after the ball carrier, showing an outstanding motor. Webb has above average length for sure, not only helps taking on blocks but making tackles from tough angles. Webb has very good speed, that’s obvious on film, but his frame is pretty slight, and it looks like on film he is standing in the 180’s. He’s an okay tackler, but would like to see him drop his hips more and explodes through with his tackle attempts. Webb just needs more strength in the lower body to really play off the edge at the next level, but his length certainly helps. Senior year I would like to see him having a bigger impact in the passing game or at least see more size added to his frame.
