What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

I am a model-student athlete who works hard on and off the field.

Weems has added 20 lbs to his frame over the last 18 months, and definitely one of the stronger squats of any guy under 200 lbs in the entire state repping 500 lbs. 15x this offseason. He rushed for about 10 yards per carry last year for 1000 yards and 14 total touchdowns. Last year, he had the luxury of having one of the more dynamic speed guys in the state playing along side and Weems was the thunder of the offense. The stoutly built back takes a second to get going, but is very hard runner who does a great job of getting behind his pads, staying low and driving his legs through the tackler. Weems is a tough dude and will fight for every extra yard. He needs to continue to work on his acceleration so he can hit his top speed earlier. One caveat with a power back like Weems is a lot of defenders have trouble gauging how to tackle him sense he is so low to the ground has has so much power, so at times defenders take bad pursuit angles for that reason. The lack of speed and agility still is a bit concerning, and more times than not Weems is getting caught from behind. Definitely one of the stronger backs in the state of Georgia and should be one of the best in his classification this fall.
