What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

All region honorable mention, all coastal player

Wells was on the lighter side last year, but even then he played with great leverage and a tenacious mindset that allows him to knock bigger players off the ball. Turn to this year, where the 6’4″ offensive lineman has started to bulk up really, and is now over 260. Just basing this off film, it looks like Wells has gained nearly 20 lbs in the last 6 months and the weight lifting improvements demonstrate that he is going about doing it the right way. I really like the urgency that Wells plays with, he pops out his stance and is really quick at the point of attack. His versatility is impressive, and last year he played almost every offensive line spot outside of center and lined up across the DL as well. His quickness to get up field allows him to seal off defenders and really set up his teammate for a long run. He shows very quick feet in pass protection. What I like about Wells more than anything is the competitive nature he shows on each play. There is no doubt he can be over 280 at the next level and grow into a very balanced offensive lineman who you can swing across the LOS. Military schools should be especially interested in the high academic student to go along with any triple option offense for that matter.
