Region 2 AAA All Region defense (2nd team)

Foster projects very well as a DT at the next level. He does a good job of using his hands to get off blocks, and shows solid flexibility on film. He does a nice job of slanting through the gaps and getting into the backfield. He’s only about 265 lbs. right now, but I can see the 2021 recruit being a lot closer to 300 lbs. at the next level. He gets a little too high when he is engaged, would like to see his pads consistently lower. Foster has D1 upside for sure. He shows good hustle towards the ball. Definitely has good strength, as he consistently manhandles the offensive linemen. Foster is definitely an underlooked recruit at this point. One thing that I like a lot about Foster is how hard he does hit, there is some legit impact when he meets the ball carrier and they go down fast. Currently one of the state leaders in tackles for loss with 21 on the year and 48 total, so about 40% of his tackles are going for a loss – awesome stuff. So overlooked, and Foster looks better than ever this year, getting out his stance even faster than before.
