What makes you stand out as a future collegiate athlete?

Since I moved to the U.S. from the Virgin Islands two years ago, I am only entering my third season as a football player. Also I was one of the top Jr paddle boarders in the world with sponsorships from the top board companies.

Wessinger is a preseason all-state selection heading this fall after his very impressive junior year. This offseason he has heard from several FCS schools and was laser timed running a 4.62 40 time. No doubt about it, Wessinger has good speed, which allows him to have such a high impact on the field. He has a strong core, explodes through his hips on his tackle attempts. At the next level he’ll have to play a hybrid OLB/SS role in a 4-2-5 defense but there is absolutely a spot for him given his raw athleticism. Hard to believe more Div I schools don’t jump in with an offer over the next few months. Great film, stats and athletic measurements – the Prince Avenue senior with a lot of upside considering his production and how new he is to the sport.
